If grief hit you out of nowhere today… breathe.
Those sudden waves aren’t proof you’re going backwards — they’re proof you’re human.
You don’t have to fight every emotion that crashes into you.
Some feelings just need to move through you.
Life often feels like a series of waves, with each one bringing its own set of challenges and emotions. On Day 3, we delve into the art of letting the wave pass. This concept is about recognizing that not every wave needs to be fought. Sometimes, the best approach is to let it wash over us, knowing it will eventually pass.
The grief waves we encounter can be emotional, mental, or even physical. They test our resilience and patience. However, learning to let them pass can bring a sense of peace and control. By understanding this, we can navigate life with more ease and less resistance.
Healing Notes:
When the wave comes, you don’t have to stop it. Let it rise. Let it fall. You’ll still be here afterward.
Tiny Habit:
Name 5 things you can see.
Journal Prompt:
Name 5 things you can see.
Night Reflection:
One small comfort today…
And when tonight comes, don’t blame yourself for the moments you drowned.
You came back up.
You let the wave pass, even when it felt endless.
Write down one small comfort you felt today —
a sound, a memory, a breath…
anything that reminded you you’re still here.
